PURPOSE:To reduce sliding friction by forming one or more silver halide emulsion layers on a support and incorporating a specified liquid organopolysiloxane and its polymer in at least one of said layers. CONSTITUTION:A silver halide photosensitive material is prepared by forming on a support, one or more silver halide emulsion layers, at least one of them contg. liquid organopolysiloxane or a polymer having siloxane units each represented by general formula I or II in which R and R1 are each 1-20C optionally substd. alkyl, aryl, or cycloalkyl, and optionally same or different; A is a bivalent group; n is 0 or 1; and B<1>, B<2> are each alkoxy, carboxy, or the like. |
