PURPOSE:To attain supervision even during transmission as to a data on a line by providing a data temporary storage device and a transmission processing unit to a communication controller, by giving an indication from a host computer and extracting in parallel a data on a line to be supervised to a line terminal other than the transmission line to the supervised. CONSTITUTION:In supervising a data flowing from a host computer HST to a terminal device TM1 as shown in an arrow AR1, a ''supervision request command'' is given from the computer HST to a transmission processor muP. The processor muP connects a terminal device not connected to the terminal device among connecting terminals LS and a connecting line LN to a side reading and transmitting the storage content of a temporary storage device MM inserted on the way of data flow. The data from the computer HST is stored in the device MM and when it is read, the data is transmitted to the terminal device TM1 and also flows via the connection line LN at the same time as shown in the arrow AR2, then it is supervised suitably by a supervisory device PLM. This is the same for the data from the terminal device to the computer HST. |
