PURPOSE:To improve greatly the transfer capacity by detecting a time band corresponding to a prescribed idle area and inserting data to said time band after inhibiting a display action. CONSTITUTION:Various answer data given from a central processor are displayed to a display device 12 under the control of a display control part 7. While various device control data are transferred between a controller 1 and a display terminal 4 via a video signal line 3. The video signal is always flowed during actuation and various data signals are transferred among video signals. A separation/synthesization control part 6 performs separation and synthesization between data and video signals. A control part 9 produces a signal indicating the superposition type according to a character position or an area between lines and sends it to both parts 6 and 7 respectively. In accordance with this indicating signal, the part 7 suppresses a display action during a period of data transfer to prevent a data signal from appearing on a display screen as a noise. |
