PURPOSE:To obtain an Mo jig for heat treatment at high temp. with superior strength at high temp. by rolling down a sintered Mo body contg. Al, Si or K and a compound for dispersion strengthening under specified conditions, forming the said body into a jig, and subjecting the jig to proper heat treatment. CONSTITUTION:A sintered body of doped Mo is formed. The doped Mo contains >0.15-0.75wt% one or more among Al, Si and K and 0.3-3wt% one or more kinds of compounds selected among the oxides, carbides, borides and nitrides of La, Ce, Dy, Y, Th, Ti, Zr, Nb, Ta, Hf, V, Cr, Mo, W and Mg. The sintered body is rolled down at >=85% reduction of area in total. The worked body is optionally subjected to strain relief annealing at a temp. below the recrystallization temp., and it is formed into a jig such as a boat for heat treatment. The jig is heat treated at a temp. 100 deg.C above the recrystallization temp. to 2,200 deg.C to grow well the recrystallized grains.
