The invention refers to a basket aggregate for use in a sugar centrifuge, by which the said aggregate is equipped with a ring-shaped mounting flange (12) containing an upward pointing cut down conical bottom (18) and a conical element with an open bottom (10) which has such a shape that is fits into the flange (12). The surfaces located directly opposite each other at the conical element's (10) lower end respectively at the bottom (18) form a ring-shaped track (24), in which a ring-shaped weld bead (28) can be introduced that through the effects of shrinkage draws the element (10) down in the bottom. The welded holes (30) in the openings (26) of the conical element (10) contribute to holding the parts together.
