Excavator with an arm pivoting about a vertical axis and about a horizontal axis as well as a tool handle articulated at the free end of the arm, at which free end there is arranged a tool, particularly an excavating or gripping power shovel. To improve the control of the tool there is provided in the joint area of the tool handle to the arm, on the tool handle or on the arm, a video camera of which the objective is directed to the working area of the tool, as well as a video monitor connected to the video camera inside the driver cabin of the excavator and in the field of vision of the driver. |
