PURPOSE:To obtain stably high-temperature hot water from a hot water boiler by a method in which one of plural water tubes is pierced through the first header to form a water supply tube, plural small holes are provided in the surrounding wall of the pierced portion of the first header, and a hot water temperature detector is provided near the pierced portion. CONSTITUTION:When a hot water supply port is opened, water is supplied from a water supply port 7 under a water supply pressure dividedly into a water supply tube 5 as shown by arrows (b) and (c) and also from plural small holes 6 provided in the surrounding wall of the pierced portion with the first header 3 of the tube 5 into the first header 3. When water is supplied from plural small holes 6 provided in the surrounding wall of the tube 5 into the first header 5, a hot water temperature sensor 9 operates and the operation of a burner 10 is started. Water supplied into the tube 5 is directed into the second header 2, during which period the operation of the burner 10 is started. The water in the header 2 is heated while being passed through plural water tubes 4 from the header 2 and discharged as hot water from the hot water supply port 8 through the header 3. |
