PURPOSE:To elevate a door in a labor-saving manner, by a method wherein, when the weir is closed, it is closed toward the upper part from the lower part, and when it is opened, it is opened toward the lower part from the upper part, and the top part of the door is elevated in linkage with elevation of a floating body. CONSTITUTION:A door 1 is contained in a form body 2, and is provided with penstocks 6 and 8, and small doors 9 and 9' and small doors 10 and 10' are mounted thereto. The level of the surface 4 of the water is maintained at an arbitrary height through proper control of operation of the small doors 9 and 10. The elevating direction of floats 15 and 15' is stabilized in a vertical direction, the floats are smoothly and reliably elevated in a vertical direction by means of low buoyancy according to the level of the surface 4 of the water, and the door 1 is vertically elevated in conformity with the height of the floats 15 and 15' and the surface 4 of the water. This enables to prevent river water from being chloridized from the viewpoint of water use through complete prevention entry of sea water into a river, and permits promotion of flow-down of river water. |
