Press for partial dewatering of pulped waste paper - squeezes water out of pulp in water-permeable compression chamber with floor that pivots to release block of compressed pulp

The pulp is compressed in a press with a bale chamber that allows liquid to escape so that during pressing liquid is squeezed out of the pulp to give it a consistency of at least 50%. The system aims to solve the problems of transport, storage and preservation of the pulp by formin self supporting blocks which can be handled on pallets by fork lift trucks.
