PURPOSE:To prevent printing quality from being deteriorated immediately after recording is restarted, by a method wherein an ink doner film is fed by a predetermined amount after throwing in a power source, and then recording is started. CONSTITUTION:A power source circuit 20 is connected to a timer circuit 22 and an operation-controlling circuit 23 through a switch 21, and the timer circuit 22 is connected to a switching circuit 231. Counting is started by throwing in the power source, and a controlling signal for maintaining the circuit 231 in an ON condition is fed until the period of time set on the timer circuit 22 is counted up by a counter. The circuit 23 is so set that ON-OFF control of the switching circuit 231 can not be performed during the counting operation. |
