PURPOSE:To satisfactorily prevent an original from being charged with electricity in order to eliminate paper-jam, etc. caused by static electrocity, by disposing an antistatic agent coating roller in an original feed mechanism or an original discharge mechanism. CONSTITUTION:An antistatic agent coating roller 41 is made into rolling contact with the top of a conveyor belt 5, and rolls in association with the conveyor belt 5 travelling in the direction of the arrow. When an original which is absorbed and conveyed by the conveyor belt 5 passes blow the roller 41, the latter coats an antistatic agent on the original copy 4, sufficiently. With this arrangement, even if the original 4 is made into contact with guide plates 6, 13, etc., it is charged with no electricity, thereby mulfunctions such as, for example, paper- jam, overlapped paper feed and discharge, etc. may be prevented. |
