PURPOSE:To make program correction effectively by reading in old machine language information to a separate processing device from an inserted position in the program of an actual machine, rewriting forefront instruction of batch information of the separate processing device by the machine information and putting in the actual machine. CONSTITUTION:Corrected information 6 for insert batch is prepared using the separate processing device. A program is executed again, and corrected information on the actual machine is stored in the separate processing device. The separate processing device gives request to the actual machine to report instruction at the insert position 5 to the program. After receiving the report of instruction at the position 5 from the actual machine, the separate processing device rewrites a part of specified information 7 in the information 6 to received information. Then, a batch information including the information 7 and corrected information 8 is written in the batch area 4 of the actual machine, and at the same time, jump instruction including address of the area 4 in which the batch information is stored is written in the position 5.
