PURPOSE:To manufacture a fine conical tubular rubber molded article with uniform quality by a method wherein specified-length band-shaped bodies consisting in cutting an unvulcanized rubber band-shaped body having a trapezoidal section formed by an extruder in lengths are laid over circumferentially along the outer surface of an inner mold from below. CONSTITUTION:Firstly, a large number of specified-length band-shaped bodies are formed by cutting an unvulcanized rubber band-shaped body having a trapezoidal section formed by extrusion molding in lengths. Secondly, the specified- length band-shaped bodies are laid over circumferentially from the base of the outer surface of a conical inner mold and laminated upwards along the ridge of the inner mold. Because the preforming member 11 formed in the manner as mentioned above has a trapezoidal section and is made of unvulcanized rubber, the preforming member 11 is excellent in elasticity, flexibility and tightly contacting property, in other words, enables to be cureved in a predetermined form and easily and tightly contacted with the outer surface of the inner mold mutually. Thirdly, the preforming member 11 is covered by an outer mold 5 and vulcanized in order to obtain a final product, after the inner mold 4 and the outer mold 5 are clamped together. |
