PURPOSE:To perform working with high accuracy without change in cutting width and surface roughness by maintaining specified pulse on time, changing pulse frequency in proportion to the detected working speed and controlling heat input. CONSTITUTION:The speeds Vx, Vy in the X-axis and Y-axis direction of a working table are detected by an arithmetic circuit 1 for vector and the vector speed is calculated in the stage of laser working. The frequency proportional to the vector speed is determined by a voltage-frequency converter 4. Pulses are outputted only for the preset specified time from a monostable multivibrator 5 with the output from said converter as a trigger. The signal of which the pulse on time obtd. accordingly is specified and the pulse frequency is in proportion to the speed is fed to a laser oscillator 3. The laser oscillator 3 controls the on and off time of a laser beam in accordance with the command and controls average power. |
