Also, said fuel from the passage 10 is fed to a second pressurizing chamber 23 through a passage 21, etc. after its quantity is measured by an injection timing controlling valve 9. And high pressure fuel in the pressurizing chamber 23, which is pressurized when a plunger 3 is pressed inward through a roller 5, which cooperates with a cam ring 4, pressurizes fuel in the pressurizing chamber 14 through the shuttle 15, making the fuel fed into an injection valve through an injection connection port 44. After the fuel is injected, the remaining fuel in the pressurising chamber 23 is discharged after the pressure in the pressurizing chamber 14 is reduced.
