PURPOSE:To improve reduction of weight, uniformity and durability of the captioned tire by using, a ply made of knitted cloth in which parallel warps are formed by a knitting yarn of thin fibre, as a reinforcing material in a pneumatic tire in which knitted cloth carcass is used. CONSTITUTION:Parallelly arranged warps 3 are formed in a knitted cloth 1 with fine knitting yarns 5 and 6 such as nylon 6 of 5-50 denier and which are adhesive to rubber. After adhesion treatment and heat treatment are applied to this knitted cloth 1, topping rubber treatment is applied, and it is buried in the rubber, and thus it is made as a reinforcing material. Therefore, reduction of weight, uniformity and durability can be improved. |
