PURPOSE:To correct the posture of an inclined work to be in a vertical state by introducing a work carried by a walking beam into a transfer space to be suspended by receiving pins. CONSTITUTION:A work W supplied through an entry 6 in a work pocket of a moving sector 10 is transferred from a shoulder member 3 onto receiving pins 23a, 23b, and simultaneously, the lower end of the work W is separated at the terminal notch portion 2a of a floor member 2 so that the work W is suspended in a vertical state. Subsequently, when th work W is put in a vertical stable posture, a piston rod 27 of the second driving cylinder device is contracted to retreat the receiving pins 23a, 23b, so that the work W loses its support and drops on the terminal notch portion 2a of the floor member 2 of the walking beam by its dead load. After that, the moving sector 10 is moved by drive of the first driving cylinder device the work W along the support surface of a guide support and transport it to an outlet. |
