PURPOSE:To reduce the coefft. of friction of a tinned contact for a connector and to prolong the endurance life by coating the contact with a liq. lubricant having a specified composition. CONSTITUTION:A phosphor bronze substrate as a contact material for a connector is plated with Cu or Ni, and an Sn film of 2-4mum thickness contg. Pb as required is formed by tinning. The resulting contact is coated with a liq. lubricant prepd. by adding >=0.5wt% F-contg. surfactant having ester bonds or phosphoric ester type surfactant having a benzene ring in each lipophilic group to polyphenyl ether as a base. The F-contg. surfactant is a copolymer of perfluoroalkyl with acrylic ester, and the phosphoric ester type surfactant is a mixture consisting of phosphoric monoester, phosphoric diester and a very small amount of phosphoric triester.
