PURPOSE:To stop the runaway of a microcomputer which controls a load at a mininum even when the computer runs away by stopping the load control of some microcomputer by another microcomputer. CONSTITUTION:For example, when a microcomputer MP2 sends data on an MP1 by serial communication and no return data or improper data is sent back from the MP1, the MP2 judges that the MP1 is abnormal and resets the output of the MP1. Consequently, a danger resulting from the continuous operation of a halogen heater and a halogen lamp is eliminated even if any signal is sent out to halogen heater driving signal output ports PB1 and PB2 of a copying machine and a halogen heater driving signal output port PC6 for optical exposure owing to the runaway of the MP1. |
