N-Pyridil-amides of 1-phenyl-cyclopentancarboxylic acid having formula (I) wherein Py is the pyridine ring, eventually substituted with one or more methyl groups or chlorine atoms, endowed with interesting antiinflammatory and antitussive properties, and a process for the preparation thereof.
