摘要 PURPOSE:To remove a molecular chemical substance in a gas with high efficiency by accelerating suspended particles, allowing the particles to hit against a baffle plate, giving an abrupt deflection to a gas stream, allowing the particles to hit against many baffle plates many times, and separating and collecting the particles by the inertia. CONSTITUTION:The velocity of a motor in correspondence with the dust concn. in a dust-contg. gas is set by a dial 13, and a motor 5 is rotated. The original dust-contg. gas W1 fed from a dust inlet 10 by an air transport pump 14 goes up in the direction (a), spouting out from the upper end 2F of a circulating cylinder, and then goes down in the direction shown by the arrow (b). The spouted gas W3 sucked by a rotary fan 4 flows down while changing successively its course by plural baffle plates 6. When the gas stream is abruptly deflected, the suspended particles are separated and collected by the baffle plates 6 by inertia due to the difference in mass between the particle and the gas. When the cleaning is finished, a ceiling plate 1F is removed, and the baffle plates 6 are taken out to the outside of the tower along with the circulating cylinder 2. Then the dust deposited on the baffle plates 6 is swept off or recovered.
