PURPOSE:To precisely position a jacket holder to a loading position or an unloading position and to make the whole thinner by installing the 1st spring between the jacket holder and a device body and by installing the 2nd spring between a jacket holder and the opening and closing cover. CONSTITUTION:A strong spring 73 is installed between the jacket holder 10 and the device body 12, a weak spring 120 is installed between the jacket holder and the opening and closing cover, the jacket holder 10 is energized in the opposite direction with two springs respectively and the jacket holder 10 is stopped to the unloading position with a stopper 134. Consequently, the jacket holder can be precesely positioned to the unloading position and the loading position respectively. The opening and closing cover 11 and the jacket holder are supported with the separate shafts, and consequently, the magnetic record unit can be made thinner.
