The underground tunnel is for road traffic etc. and is formed using a pasty material to constitute an intermediate layer between the rock and the lining. This layer supports the thrust from the ground and is placed in position during excavation. - The intermediate layer is formed in advance of the lining and in the space between the rock and intermediate formwork on the onside, and covering at least the section which is to receive the layer. The lining is formed in-situ by concreting between this intermediate formwork, which is moved as concreting progresses, and internal formwork.
