PURPOSE:To attain the processing finish equivalent to a flat part for a converter which converts a copying motion into the numerical information, by detecting both start and end time points of a descending copying motion and putting the deceleration command information into the numerical information at the start time point to release the command information in the end time point. CONSTITUTION:A controller 7 drives motors MX-MZ so that a stylus 3 has a fixed level of contact pressure to the surface of a model 1. Then a table 7 is moved to make the stylus 3 copy after the surface of the model 1. The pressure contact of the stylus 3 changes when the stylus 3 reaches the sloping surface of the model 1. The 2nd speed command part 36 decides the start of a descending copying action when the (x) direction component of the pressure contact becomes larger than the prescribed value. Then the deceleration command information is put into the numerical information on the copying action. When the (x) direction component of the pressure contact is set at zero after the stylus 3 reaches the termination part of the model 1, the deceleration release information is inserted. In the same way, the deceleration is carried out in case the (x) component of the pressure contact is negative. |
