PURPOSE:To speed up word line drive by connecting a circuit which detects, amplifies, and feeds back a specific voltage level of a word line at a specific position on the word line, and speeding up voltage variation of a word line. CONSTITUTION:The detection level of the complementary MOS inverter 9 of a word line drive speeding circuit 5 is made as lower as possible within a permissible range of noise tolerance so that the rising of the voltage of the word line 1 is detected speedily, and the circuit 5 is arranged where a P channel type MOSFET10 charges the word line 1 between a distant terminal 4 and a nearby terminal 2, and a connection point 6 efficiently after the detection. Consequently, the word line 1 is driven at a high speed by the circuit 5. |
