发明名称 FUEL INJECTION PUMP OF DIESEL ENGINE
摘要 PURPOSE:To permit the superior atomization of jetted fuel and obtain a proper reaching distance by obtaining the proper max. fuel injection pressure which is nearly constant over all the revolutional range by installing a max. fuel pressure controlling means for controlling the max. fuel pressure in a plunger chamber. CONSTITUTION:A solenoid valve 52 is ON/OFF-duty-controlled by a controller 54 according to the pressure signal obtained by an inside-injection-pipe pressure sensor 50 so that the inside-injection-pipe pressure does not exceed a set pressure, e.g., 350kg/cm<2>G. If a pump or nozzle is designed so that the inside-injection-pipe pressure in a low-revolution number range becomes a proper value, the inside-injection-pipe pressure which is proper over all the revolution number range can be obtained. It is enough only to add the inside-injection-pipe pressure sensor 50, fuel return port 28A, and the solenoid valve 52 onto a conventional distribution type fuel injection pump, and the proper max. fuel pressure control can be carried-out with a relatively simple constitution.
