PURPOSE:To prevent transfer of an useless message such as monologue and silent message by processing message transfer only when the recording time is a business message is a prescribed time or over. CONSTITUTION:When an incoming call is detected by an incoming call detection circuit 6, a response message is reproduced from a recording/reproducing circuit 8 and transmitted to a trunk line terminal L. When the response message is finished, the timer for measuring recording time is set and also the recording/ reproduction circuit 8 is controlled and a business message from a caller is recorded. When the recording is finished, the control circuit 4 opens once a trunk line, and if the time of the timer is out even when the recording is continued, the trunk line is opened immediately. The control circuit 4 discriminates whether or not the recording of the measuring time of the timer is a prescribed time or over, and the mode is brought into the automatic dial transfer operation only when the time is a prescribed time or over. |
