The invention relates to a locking latch for a door lock, having an oblique front flank and, opposite this, a straight rear flank, the face of which extends parallel to the door leaf and forms with the front flank a common edge, namely the front edge. According to the invention, the straight rear flank is subdivided into a plurality of part faces (12, 13, 14) which are each parallel to the face of the door leaf (3) and which, starting from the front edge (11) of the latch (6), are at a distance from the oblique flank (10) which increases in steps. A readjustment of a warped door thereby becomes superfluous or, at all events, less frequent than was necessary hitherto. <IMAGE>
