PURPOSE:To provide the thermal recording material which eliminates vanishing color in the color forming image with a stability against temperature and humidity by using a thiourea based compound as developer and N-substituted dithiozinc carbamate as image stabilizing agent. CONSTITUTION:In a thermal recording material utilizing a color forming reaction between a leuco dye (e.g. 3-di-n-butyle-7-o-chloroanillinofluorane) and a developer, a thiourea based compound (e.g. N,N'-diphenylthiourea) of the formula I (wherein R1 and R2 is each H, halogen, trifluoromethyl or 1-4C alkyl) is used as the developer while an N-substituted zinc carbamate salt [generally a compound of the formula II (R<1> and R<2> are each 1-4C alcyl or phenyl) such as zinc dithiocarbamate] preferably at the rate of 0.5-1 parts per 1pt.wt. of the developer as image stabilizing agent. |
