PURPOSE:To smoothly perform operations for taking in-and-out of industrial vehicles provided with crawler equipment each rolled on an upper deck, by setting up an elevator inside a hole approximate to the front of a stern engine room, piercing from the upper deck to each of decks. CONSTITUTION:An elevator 11 is set up inside a hole 10 approximate to the front of a stern engine room 8, piercing from an upper deck 5 to each of decks. On the upper deck, industrial heavy vehicles provided with crawler equipment being rolled in are taken inside another elevator 12 whereby conveyance to the inside of the hold takes place. Reversely, delivery operations for them are also carried out. As compared with the conventional one that a slope way connecting intervals between each of decks is installed inside the hole, the taking in-and-out operation in this case is yet more smoothly carried out.
