PURPOSE:To enhance assembling ability and to make it unnecessary to consider a change of clearance due to long years of usage by setting clearance between a magnetic head and a roller to zero, that is, to be brought into contact with each other. CONSTITUTION:In condition where a card 27 and a roller 32 are not passing through a magnetic head 14, the roller 32 is aloways pressed and energized by the magnetic head 14. Since the card 27 is transported by a main carrier roller and a carrier roller, which are separatedly provided from the roller 32 incontacting with the magnetic head 14, it is unnecessary to consider clearance between a carrier roller and a magnetic head, which has been carried out in a conventional system. Assembly and adjustment of carrier devices are easily executed, and a thin magnetic card can be securely transported.
