PURPOSE:To prevent lubricant from affixing to a drying agent by delaying the closing timing of a drain valve so that the lubricant is released from the drain valve even though the lubricant staying in the air compression chamber of a compressor during no-load operation is discharged with commencement of loaded operation. CONSTITUTION:An exhaust delay device 100 having a check valve 101 and a variable throttle valve 102 in parallel therewith is furnished on the way of a pneumatic signal line 44 leading to a drain valve 4 of a dryer 1, wherein the pneumatic signal is sent from a governor 45 which is to sense the pressure in a main reserver 36 and actuate an unloader 50 and said drain valve 4. When a pneumatic signal is given from said governor 45 in order to have no-load operation, the check valve 101 shall be passed so as to open the drain valve 4 quickly. For loaded operation, on the other hand, a delayed closing of drain valve 4 shall be provided by the above-mentioned throttle valve 102 even though the governor 45 is put in communication to the atmosphere. |
