PURPOSE:To make injection timing control performable in a highly accurate manner, by detecting an error in timing control data produced by setting errors of a top dead point sensor and an injection timing sensor under the specified operation condition, while automatically compensating the timing control data for the injection timing control. CONSTITUTION:After each output signal out of a top dead point sensor 5 and an injection timing sensor 7 being installed each in response to a driven shaft 6 of a crankshaft 4 and a fuel injection device 3 is processed at both waveform shaping circuit 11 and 12, a fuel injection control unit of a Diesel engine 2 inputs it into an operation circuit 13 and outputs the injection timing control data D calculated at this operation circuit to a timer controller 10. In this case, a compensation circuit 14 compensating a portion for errors in output data D on the basis of setting errors in each of sensors 5 and 7 is installed. And, with this compensation circuit 14, the output data D is compensated by a compensation data Dc commensurate to a portion differential between the output data D at a time when a control signal S for most delayed timing control is outputted from a most delayed timing controller 15.
