PURPOSE:To obtain the titled matter capable of giving highly lubricant and high- pressure lubricant composition for metal processing use, by sulfarizing a mixture made up of each specific hydrogenated fish oil and fatty acid ester. CONSTITUTION:The objective matter can be obtained by sulfurizing, with pref. 5-25wt% of sulfur, a mixture prepared by mixing (A) 50-80wt% of hydrogenated fish oil with an iodine value 50-100 and (B) 20-50wt% of a fatty acid ester derived from the esterification (or ester interchange reaction) between (i) hydrogenated fish oil fatty acid with an iodine value 50-100 formed by decomposition of the component (A) and (ii) 1-24C (un)saturated aliphatic alcohol. |
