Problem and application: achieving energy savings in the operation of ships, aircraft, rockets, cars and railways. Avoidance of wave shock and sonic booms. Generation of lift for aircraft without lifting surfaces. Solution: the object is achieved in that the body to be moved through the medium (water, air) is completely surrounded from nose to tail by a cylindrical jacket (steel, aluminium) which is open at the nose and the tail, at least so much distance being created between the body (inner body) and the jacket that the medium can flow freely from nose to tail, and the inner body and jacket being firmly connected to one another via webs and spacers. The lift for missiles is generated in that the jacket is equipped all round with openings (pores) which can be closed, of different sizes. Lift is produced in that the upper pores of the jacket (entire body/hollow cylinder) are opened, the flow at the tail being closed by a valve (in sections), and the medium entering at the nose when the body is moving being forced out through the pores. In consequence, the medium flowing past the upper side of the jacket has a longer path than that on the underside, as a result of which lift is generated.
