PURPOSE:The titled composition improved in processability, odor, heat stability, and aging property, comprising a specified vinyl acetate polymer, an epoxy compound and, optionally, other synthetic resins. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. (A) vinyl polymer (e.g., ethylene/vinyl acetate/carbon monoxide copolymer obtained by copolymerizing 40-80wt% ethylene with 15- 60wt% vinyl acetate and 5-30wt% CO) is dry-blended or melt-blended simultaneously or consecutively with 0.1-10pts.wt. (B) nitrogen-containing epoxy resin (e.g., triglycidyl isocyanurate) or alicyclic epoxy resin (e.g., vinylcyclohexene diepoxide) and, optionally, (C) other synthetic resins compatible with component A (e.g., vinyl chloride resin). |
