PURPOSE:To prevent an inferior recording at the time of start of recording by making a recorder perform the optimum restoring action according to the interval of suspension of the recorder. CONSTITUTION:When a power source 18 for recording of a recorder is turned OFF, the time is counted by a counter 15 until the power source 18 for recording is turned ON. This time is always watched by CPU16 and in case the power source 18 for recording is turned ON, according to the counted value, namely, the interval of suspension of the recorder, a controller 9 of a pump is operated and the suction pressure of a pump 6 is varied. As stated above, by adjusting the suction pressure of the restoration pump 6 in proportion to the time of suspension of the recorder, the suction pressure of a liquid jet nozzle 1 is changed, and nondischarge restoration action is surely performed. Therefore, the ratio of ocurrence of the inferior recording at the starting time of recording is greately reduced. |
