PURPOSE:To perform easily setting such as butting with a compact construction by providing a means for recognizing visually a work facing the exit port of a laser nozzle via a laser passage. CONSTITUTION:A sealing member which closes a through-port 7 formed in a parapet-shaped projecting part 6 is moved in the case of recognizing visually the surface of a work facing the exit port of a laser nozzle 5. Holders 10, 12 mounted with a scope 8 are fitted into the hole 7 and are fixed to the part 6 by means of a bolt 9 so that the window 16 of the scope 8 is positioned in the part right above the exit port of the nozzle 5. Whether the butt part of the plate materials is positioned at the point facing the exit port of the nozzle 5 or not can be checked through a laser passage 4 by the scope 8 and the setting operation of the plate materials is effectively accomplished by the above-mentioned mechanism. The scope 8 may be installed freely advanceably and retreatably to and from the outside of the laser passage 4. |
