PURPOSE:To smoothen the operation of a rotary drive device by combining a movable magnet, a temperature sensitive magnetic unit and a stationary magnet, and rotating a rotary drum by simultaneously utilizing attracting and repelling forces, thereby improving the rotary torque. CONSTITUTION:A rotary drum 1 is supported in the vicinity above hot water 3, and a plurality of temperature sensitive elements 5 are provided on the outer periphery of the drum 1. The elements 5 are constructed by securing temperature sensitive ferrite members 7 on the outer periphery of a movable permanent magnet 6. When the ferrite members 7 are disposed outside the hot water 3, they exhibit magnetic property, and when they are filled in the hot water 3, its magnetic property is lost. The members 7 which are disposed in the vicinity of the surface of the water 3 out of the water 3 are attracted to a stationary permanent magnet 4 under the water surface, and repelling force is generated between the magnet 6 and the permanent magnet 4. Accordingly, the drum 1 is continuously driven rotatably. |
