PURPOSE:To attain reproducing always faithful to a recording signal independently of the diameter of a circular track by changing the frequency characteristics of the reproducing level of an information signal arranged at least in a comparatively high frequency in accordance with a means obtaining the diameter information of the circular track on a medium. CONSTITUTION:A video signal for one field which is continuously reproduced by a head 11 is separated into an FM-modulated luminance signal and an FM-modulated line sequential color difference signal by a Y/C separating circuit 19. The FM-modulated luminance signal is FM-demodulated by an FM-demodulator 21 through a frequency characteristic circuit 20 and the FM-demodulated signal is supplied to a reproduced signal processing circuit 24. On the other hand, the FM- modulated line sequence color difference signal is FM-demodulated by an FM-demodulator 22 and the FM-demodulated signal is returned to two kinds of color difference signals by a color difference signal forming circuit 23 including an one-horizontal scanning period delay line. These color difference signals are supplied to the reproduced signal processing circuit 24. The circuit 24 executes various processing to form a static video signal from a continuous video signal of one field. |
