The invention relates to a coaxial socket intended to establish an electrical connection for signal and earth conductors of a printed-circuit board. The socket comprises an external metal body 12 whose terminals 28 can be soldered into holes 30 of a board 32, a dielectric element 14, one portion of which is disposed along the body, a central contact 16 disposed in the dielectric element 14, an external contact 18 extending along the external surface of the dielectric element 14 and a ferrule (barrel) 20 intended to be crimped onto the tubular portion 22 of the body.
