<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate mounting of a cassette by forming a feeding cassette by forming a cut-out part at the top edge part of a box-shaped member for accommodating a sheet and installing a means for varying the position of a sheet separating means when the sheet is fed, onto a feeding apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A feeding cassette 1 is made of the tough material such as corrugated cardboard, etc. and has a cut-out part 3 through the perforations 2 made by a sawing machine at the top edge part of a box-shaped member 1a which serves as the package material for a copying paper 5 and has a size indicating mark 4. After the cut-out part 3 is removed, the feeding cassette 1 is mounted into a copying machine body C, and an arm 9 is pushed-up, and a driving shaft 8 turns around the center of the shaft of a sprocket 17 and rises, and paper feeding rollers 7 and 7a ride over the upper surface of the copying material 5. Then, the size mark 4 is read-out, and after a lateral transfer board 14 shifts in accordance with said size, solenoids 13 and 13a are set OFF, and separating hooks 6 and 6a lower to contact with the both corners at the top edge of the copying material 5, and paper feed is permitted.</p> |
