PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. having excellent heat resistance, mechanical strength, rigidity, appearance and particularly plate adhesion, by incorporating wollastonite and a modified olefin copolymer in a polyamide. CONSTITUTION:The titled compsn. is obtd. by incorporating 15-60wt% (based on the total quantity of the compsn.) wollastonite (A) which has an average particle size of 0.2-4.0mu and in which reduction in wt. when fired at 100 deg.C does not exceed 4.0wt%, and 1-20wt% olefin copolymer (B) contg. 600-150,000 (in terms of epoxy equivalent) epoxy groups introduced thereinto (e.g. an ethylene/ vinyl acetate copolymer contg. epoxy groups introduced thereinto), in a polyamide (C) (e.g. nylon 6). By adding the powder A to the resin C and further adding the copolymer B thereto, products having an excellent appearance similar to that of metal-plated ABS resin and further excellent heat resistance, mechanical strength, rigidity and particularly plate adhesion can be obtd. |
