PURPOSE:To decrease driving power by receiving the descending of a lower die by contact with an upper die by a hydraulic piston and rising a piston by the expelling oil thereof to rise the freely liftable punch of the lower die thereby reducing the descending distance of the upper die by half and increasing the drawing depth. CONSTITUTION:The upper die 5 of an upper die 2 is lowered to lower a lower die blank holder 12 and a hydraulic pressure generating piston 16. A piston 11 is risen by the expelling oil thereof through a passage 18 to rise a freely liftable punch 7. If the total area of the hydraulic pressure generating piston is approximately equal to the area of the punch piston 11, the punch 7 ascends by as much as the descending stroke of the upper die thereby reducing the descending distance of the upper die by half. Deep drawing is thus accomplished with the smaller descending stroke by which energy consumption is reduced and the working time is shortened. |
