PURPOSE:To enable a speed-up mechanism for driving an inertia member to be made miniaturized and lightweight and as well to have a relatively large speed- up ratio, in such a device, that it is used for damping vibration in pipe line systems, etc. in a power plant. CONSTITUTION:Nuts 6, 7 secured to a cylindrical inertia member 5 are screwed respectively onto screw rods 2, 4 secured to main and counter cylinders 1, 3 serving as supporting members. By setting the relation between the thread pitches P1, P2 of the first and second screw rods 2, 3 to be P1>P2, the rotation of the inertia member 5 may be increased under relative axial movement between the nuts 6, 7 and the screw rods 2, 4. |
