PURPOSE:To prevent jumping out of a developer from the end of a means for supplying the developer without increasing the width of said means by conveying and supplying the developer by magnetic force and preventing the jumping out of the developer from the end of said means. CONSTITUTION:A developer is attracted and conveyed by the magnetic force of a magnet 25 in a magnet roller 6 and is supplied to a photosensitive drum 2. Magnetic discs 51, 52 having the diameter slightly smaller than the outside diameter of a developing sleeve 24 are provided on the inside of both sides of the sleeve 24 at about 1-5mm. outward from both ends of the magnetic pole so that the magnetic flux density leaking from both ends of the sleeve 24 to the outside is decreased. Drawing of the developer 4 into the spaces between both ends of the sleeve 24 and the side plates 14, 15 of a case 1 is obviated and even if some developer 4 enters said spaces, the rotation of the sleeve 24 while such developer is held stuck to both sides is decreased and the scattering of the developer 4 from both ends of the sleeve 24 is obviated. |
