The following invention is, in the first case, intended to apply to a frame for carts for so called compact constructions, e.g. carts which are movable on tracks in a floor and support storage shelves and which can be moved toward and respectively away from each other in order to form service passages between the shelves. The beams in previously known frames have bee assembled with the help of welding, soldering or screws, which has been costly and time consuming. The invention concerns the supply of a frame with longitudinal and transverse beams, which are instead held together with a snap mechanism, which forms a part of the beams themselves. The transverse beams (14, 32) are mainly U-shaped and each at its leg ends(14a, 14b, 32b) is equipped with hooks (18, 35, 36) while the body (14c, 32a) close to its ends has a track (19, 38) or similar, which extends itself across toward the beams longitudinal direction, at which each longitudinal beam (13, 31) has a vertical leg (13c, 13d, 31a), intended to lay against one end of the respective transverse beam (14, 32) and a horizontal leaf (13a, 31b) which is intended to lay against the transverse beam's body (14c, 32a) and at its end has a bent piece (15, 34)intended to be introduced into the track (19, 38) and at which the vertical leaf (13c, 13d, 31a) has a number of slits (16, 33) which extend themselves across toward the longitudinal direction of the beam and are intended to take in the hooks (18, 35, 36) on the transverse beam.<IMAGE> |
