PURPOSE:To provide a shifting apparatus for light goods of a simple structure by always supporting the base of a container with two wheels driven by an endless rope and driving and braking the rope to shift goods at low speed in a slowly shifting apparatus for carrying edible plant culture. CONSTITUTION:An endless rope 4 applied with tensile force by stretch equipment 8 is fitted in a groove not shown disposed on a support portion 2 of a container 1 containing plants or the like. The endless rope 4 is fitted in a groove of a wheel 5 to always support the support portion 2 of the container 1 with two wheels 5. The endless rope 4 is continuously or intermittently driven corresponding to the upbringing speed of plants by a traction device 7 to shift the container 1. In this case, if a downward gradient of within 20 deg. is give from the right end to the left end, a braking device is provided instead of the traction device 7. This arrangement can accomplish an apparatus suitable for locally supporting the base of light goods and shifting same. |
