PURPOSE:To provide the titled agent having remarkably improved antiinflammatory effect without causing side effects, by compounding glycyrrhizic acid and/or its derivative having mild antiinflammatory effect with 4-t-butyl-4'-methoxybenzoylmethane. CONSTITUTION:(A) One or more compounds selected from glycyrrhizic acid and/or its derivative (e.g. glycyrrhizic acid dipotassium salt, glycyrrhizic acid monoammonium salt, glycyrrhizic acid stearate, etc.) is compounded together with (B) 4-t-butyl-4'-methoxybenzoylmethane of formula II to the objective external agent. The amount of the component A in the whole external agent is 0.001-5wt% preferably 0.05-0.1wt%, and that of the component B is >=1/100 pts.wt., preferably >=1pt.wt. per 1pt. of the compound A. |
