PURPOSE:To permit the precise control for the toe angle of a rear wheel by supporting a wheel supporting member through a suspension arm onto a bracket rotatably installed in the horizontal plane onto a chassis and turning said bracket by an actuator. CONSTITUTION:Two lateral rods 9 and 10 are extended in the direction of car width from a wheel support 4 as the wheel supporting member of a rear-wheel suspension apparatus 3 for rotatably supporting a rear wheel 1, and the top edges of the respective rods 9 and 10 are connected to a bracket 33 through a rubber bush 12 and a connecting shaft 13. Said bracket 33 is pivotally supported rotatably in the horizontal plane onto a chassis 2 by a turning shaft 34 and can be turned by a hydraulic clylinder 11. When a steering wheel 30 is operated, an electromagnetic propertional valve 25 is controlled through a steering-angle detector 31 and an amplifier 32, and the hydraulic cylinder 11 is extended and contracted to turn the bracket 33, and the toe angle of the rear wheel 1 is correctly varied in correspondence with the steering angle. |
